Eating Plan

March 02 0 Comments Category: Life, zeke thinks its cool

Today a bunch of guys in the ministry, Renee and I are starting a new eating plan until March 30th.

I’m pretty excited about it, I plan on loosing 30 pounds!! Guess the last few years of snacking on taco bell behind the editing desk hasn’t been too good for me (massive understatement) but the last 10 days I’ve had no soda, or carbs and I’ve felt great!

It’s important to take care of ourselves and it’s common for tech guys to completely let themselves go, which is disgusting, common people, take care of your bodies!!

If you are curious if what we are doing, it’s listed below:

Breakfast:
1 cup Oatmeal (can eat special K or Kashi cereal if oatmeal is not desired)
(If milk is used I recommend “Silk”)
¼ cup berries (raspberries, blueberries, blackberries)
2 eggs (only one yoke) any style

Mid-morning
1 scoop protein in water
1 med sized apple

Lunch
One chicken breast (palm sized), lean red meat, or fish (nothing breaded)
1 cup leafy green vegtables (spinach, broccoli, asparagas)

Mid-Afternoon
2 scoops protein in water
¼ cup of nuts

Dinner
One chicken breast (palm sized), lean red meat, or fish (nothing breaded)
1 cup leafy green vegtables (spinach, broccoli, asparagas)

Notes:
Drinks: Plenty of Water
Coffee (If sweetener is needed use stivia)
 Red Wine (occasional)

Portions: At first if hunger persists you can eat more than recommended portions but must be strict on the foods

Free Day: Choose one day to eat freely. This is not a cheat day (this is part of the plan) Eat freely all day (don’t spread 3 meals over the week)
Free Day must be planned in advance and is not dependent upone events or feelings.

Shopping recommendations:
Chicken Breast (Walmart or Sams Club) cook many at a time and store
Leafy green vegtables: try not to eat canned veggies but fresh or steamed
Kashi cereal (low fat)
Oatmeal (Best is organic, but low fat is ok)
Protein (doesn’t matter as long as its weigh protein, and I recommend a shaker cup)

Get in the habit of always carrying water, this will supress hunger.
